DUSTY is a scruffy Australian accented GROUCH who appeared in SESAME STREET EPISODE 3950 as the drummer of OSCAR THE GROUCH's "alternative" GROUCH band. Angered that the other band members won't let him start the band in playing music that he decides to quit. Elmo eventually joins the group as the replacement drummer w/ help from OSCAR, GRUNDGETTA, SLAM & PHOOEY LOUIE. Elmo eventually became the permanent drummer replacement for DUSTY.
