| ||What’s the Word on the STREET?: Dozen|
| ||Gordon welcomes the viewer when a GROUCH delivery man arrives w/ a bouquet of stinky fish (w/ extra stink). OSCAR claims them & leaves the GROUCH delivery man without a tip. OSCAR explains to Gordon today is GROUCHY MOTHER’s Day & his MOTHER is visitinig to celebrate. Her plane flies overhead & drops her out. She & OSCAR greet each other in a very normal Grouchy way (OSCAR: "ROTTEN to see ya, MA." MRS. GROUCH: "Ah, rotten to see you too, SON. Heh heh heh!") Her luggage comes down, complete with a surprise - OSCAR’s sister Bunny, who has come to celebrate the day with them, much to OSCAR’s annoyance. OSCAR asks BUNNY what she's doing there, then he reminds her that she said she would never set foot on SESAME STREET. BUNNY says that's only because their MOTHER would never allow her to. & MRS. GROUCH says she did that because "this is no place for a GROUCH, ever! BUNNY then states that she simply wanted to surprise her MOTHER for GROUCHY MOTHER’s Day because Bunny knows just how much her mother can't stand surprises. & MRS. GROUCH says they make her feel really angry!! Then, MRS. GROUCH reveals to everyone there that she actually gave her daughter the name of "BUNNY" just to aggravate her, after Gordon tells them that, to him, the name "BUNNY" actually sounds more cute than GROUCHY, making BUNNY growl with annoyance. Bob passes by & wishes Mrs. Grouch a Happy GROUCHY MOTHER’s Day (thanks to his "Cultural Diversity Calendar").|
| ||OSCAR presents his mother his stinky fish, which there are 6 of. BUNNY 1 ups with by saying she has a dozen fish (twice as many). She counts each 1 as she tosses them out of her bag. The last of which is in her cosmetics case & knocks Oscar over. Oscar & BUNNY argue over who's fish are stinkier, while their mother states that they both stink. Oscar's next gift is his mother's favorite perfume, Aude de Skunk #9. Bunny once again puts his gift to shame by giving the same scent, but using a real skunk applicator, "the GROUCH gift that keeps on givin'". They argue again over who's was the smelliest gift, while their mother think they both smell, but Bunny insists she made their mother angrier, but Oscar says she didn't. Mrs. Grouch says both her children make her angry & now she's ready for more gifts, but Oscar has something else in mind - a trip to the dump, as they just got a fresh load of trash!! He snidely asks what Bunny planned; she says she planned nothing, which makes her mother very, very angry. Bunny gloats & Mrs. Grouch says even though she loves to hear her children argue, now she insists they go to the dump, letting them argue on the way</span>.|
| ||While Oscar struggles to get The Sloppy Jalopy to start, Chris & the kids pass by & wish Mrs. Grouch a Happy GROUCHY MOTHER’s Day. BUNNY & MRS. GROUCH beg OSCAR to get the car started, fearing the next nice thing they'll see. Rosita appears & wishes them a Happy GROUCHY MOTHER’s Day in Spanish, then hugs them both, making them furious. Oscar finally gets the car started, but Mrs. Grouch is upset that her son, a Grouch, managed to fix a car. Bunny starts boastin that OSCAR is loosing his GROUCHiness so MRS. GROUCH decides to take herself & BUNNY back to GROUCHland, saying she doesn't want her BUNNY ever starting to like hugs & that if both her children lost their GROUCHiness then she couldn't bear it. Oscar yells out to them, saying he'll prove he didn't lose his GROUCHiness.|
| ||Bunny & Mrs. Grouch are packed up & ready to leave. Oscar stops them & shows them his final gift. Gordon, Bob & Chris are dressed in ROTTEN attire & have adopted Grouchy attitudes (or as Grouchy as they can provide). They then sing an a capella song to Mrs. Grouch about Grouchy Mother's Day. She is so mad at the sweetness of his gift, saying he’s ruined GROUCHY MOTHER’s Day, which means it was a great success! OSCAR rubs it in BUNNY’s face, who tries to say she ruined the day as well. Mrs. Grouch says they both ruined her day, saying not every Mom is lucky enough to have 2 such rotten kids. Their plane arrives & they are launched to it through OSCAR’s TRASH CAN & OSCAR wishes both of them a bumpy flight. OSCAR wants to thank his neighbors for helping, but then states that he's a GROUCH & he doesn't thank anyone. Chris & Gordon aren't sure what happened, but Bob goes off thinking they still enjoyed the song.|
