Fernando Rivas

Fernando Rivas is a Cuban-born composer, pianist, arranger & music producer. He began writing songs for SESAME STREET in 1990.[1]. His last known SESAME song credit was in 1998.

Elmopalooza!, which his music appeared on, won a Grammy Award.

Having studied at Julliard, he composed for 15 musicals, created stage production Barrio Babies with Luis Santeiro, & composed for Playhouse Disney show Handy Manny. Additional credits include Nickelodeon series Dora the Explorer & Gullah Gullah Island.
