Oh, BROTHER! is a 1987 SESAME STREET storybook published by Ideal Toys for the "BIG BIRD StoryMagic" toy set.

"Unusual Song" & "Don't Ever Trust a GROUCH" are sung on the tape, both by Dave Conner. CAROLL SPINNEY recorded the voices of BIG BIRD & OSCAR THE GROUCH, & FRANK OZ the voice of Cookie Monster, for the accompanying cassette tape.

OSCAR THE GROUCH, In the story, is unusually cheerful, watering flowers & singing the alphabet song correctly. BIG BIRD wonders what's up, & eventually finds out that OSCARs brother, ERNEST is coming to town. OSCAR cant stand him & wants to make him feel out of his element. So he fixes his door bell & his television, & sets out lots of sweet treats, courtesy of Cookie Monster. But then, ERNEST calls to say that he won't be coming, & OSCAR despairs that all of his work is for naught. Just after Cookie Monster gobbles down the last of the treats, & OSCAR finishes breaking everything again, ERNEST changes his mind, & decides to come again!
